Katherine Sacks

Katherine Sacks is the Digital Communications Coordinator for GRACE, where she tweets, tags, snaps and shares the story of sustainable food and agriculture. As the former Associate Food Editor for Epicurious, she tied her passion for sustainability into her work in the test kitchen, developing a weeknight vegetarian column; writing about home cricket farming; and covering wastelessness and scrap cooking. A graduate of Drexel University's Department of Culinary Arts and Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, Katherine got her start in the food world as a pastry chef in Los Angeles, where she first discovered her deep love and respect for the farmers' market. Her work has been featured in Prevention, Deutsche Welle, Vice's Munchies and FoodandWine.com, among others.
