Take A Bicycle Tour Of Brooklyn Greenmarkets On October 2!

As my vast network of devoted admirers undoubtedly recall, back in the spring, I led the Tour de Farmers' Markets for Eat Well Guide.  This involved riding bicycles around New York City to visit various farmers' markets.  It was so awesome that we're holding another bicycle tour on October 2 !

This time, we're staying in Brooklyn and partnering with our friends at Greenmarket and Farm City, who've organized an event itinerary that cranks the awesomeness up to 11 - think rooftop farm visit, cheese tasting, cider pressing, compost workshop, lunch with local farmers and tours of four Greenmarkets (Greenpoint / McCarren Park, Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn Borough Hall and Grand Army Plaza).

The tour covers 8.7 miles of Brooklyn pavement at a leisurely pace (with plenty of food stops along the way), and costs $5 (which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and good company).

Space is limited, so reserve a slot today by contacting Liz at [email protected] or 212-341-2321.
